Read your dashboard

The dashboard at /app is the first page you see after signing in. It shows how today is going, with the last 30 days for context.

Who can do this: roles with "View dashboard & live numbers". By default that's Owner, Admin, Manager, Veterinarian and Front desk. Groomers, Caretakers and Staff see My day instead (see below).

The numbers across the top

• Bookings today: bookings starting today that aren't cancelled.
• Checked in now: pets currently checked in or in progress.
• Collected today: payments received today.
• Outstanding: the unpaid balance on invoices that are unpaid or part-paid, with the number of invoices underneath.
• New customers: customers added this month.
• Low stock: products at or below their reorder level.
• Vaccines due: vaccinations due in the next 30 days.

Things waiting for you

Two tiles appear above the numbers only when there is something to do:

• Outbox: how many WhatsApp alerts are waiting for a one-tap send. See the Outbox.
• Parent requests: how many pet parents have asked to reschedule or cancel from their link. See handle requests from parents.

Charts and lists

• Revenue · last 30 days: payments received per day. If you can view reports, Sales report → opens the full sales report.
• Bookings by service: last 30 days, split by service type (grooming, boarding and so on).
• Busiest hours: bookings by start time over the last 30 days, with the peak hour highlighted. It's useful for planning staff rotas.
• Up next: the next five confirmed or pending bookings.
• Pending requests: bookings still waiting for you to confirm. Ones made online have an online tag.
• Low stock: the five lowest items, with stock compared to reorder level.
• Recent activity: your latest notifications. All → opens /app/notifications.

Click any booking to open it.

Filtering by branch

The dashboard follows the branch switcher in the top bar. Choose a branch to see only its numbers, or All branches for the whole business. A small label under the greeting shows which one you're looking at. Vaccines due and Recent activity always cover the whole business.

My day (for team members)

If your role doesn't include the dashboard, /app shows My day instead:

• Your rostered shift for today, or "No shift on the roster today."
• A Clock in button. After you clock in, it changes to Clock out. Once you've clocked out, it shows "Shift complete for today". You can clock in and out once per day.

If your role does include the dashboard, a small My shift card at the top of the dashboard gives you the same Clock in / Clock out button. (Owners only see it when they're on today's roster or have already clocked in.)

Setup checklist

Owners and Admins see a Welcome to FurKisses! checklist at the top of the dashboard until every step is done. Click the close button to hide it for the whole business.

• My appointments today: bookings assigned to you.
• My tasks: up to 10 open tasks assigned to you, with All tasks →.

Good to know

• People who see the full dashboard clock in from /app/staff/attendance instead. That page needs "View staff directory & rosters", which Veterinarian and Front desk don't have by default, so add it in /app/staff/roles if they need to clock in.
