The audit log

The audit log records every time an invoice, payment or staff record is created, changed or deleted.

Who can do this: Owners and Admins. The Audit log card is hidden from other roles, and if a Manager opens the page directly, it only shows "Owners and admins only".

  1. 1Go to Settings → Audit log (/app/settings/audit).
  2. 2Each row shows When, Who (a team member, "System" for automatic changes, or "Former member"), What (insert, update or delete, plus the invoice number or person's name) and Changes.
  3. 3For updates, Changes shows the old value crossed out and the new value next to it, for up to eight fields.

The page shows the latest 100 entries. Changes to bookings, customers, services and settings aren't recorded here.

Notifications

Who can do this: everyone.

The bell in the top bar shows how many unread notifications you have. Click it to open /app/notifications.

You'll get a notification when:

  • a customer books online ("New online booking")
  • someone sends an enquiry from your website ("New enquiry")
  • a team member asks for time off ("Time-off request")
  • a pet parent does something on their link ("Check-in form received", "Reschedule request", "Cancellation request", "Incident acknowledged", "Vaccination certificate uploaded")
  • money arrives online ("Online payment received", "Deposit paid")
  • the waitlist moves ("New waitlist request", "Waitlist offer sent", "Waitlist offer accepted")
  • a customer leaves a low rating ("Low rating")
  • you redeem a package credit
  • sample data is loaded

To work with them:

  1. 1Use the All and Unread tabs to filter.
  2. 2Click a notification's title to open the related page. This also marks it as read.
  3. 3Click Mark read on a single notification, or Mark all as read at the top.

Notifications tagged Just for you were sent only to you. All others go to the whole team.

Good to know

  • Read status for team-wide notifications is shared: when one person marks one as read, it shows as read for everyone.
  • The dashboard's Recent activity card shows your six latest notifications. See Read your dashboard.
  • Notifications appear inside FurKisses only. They aren't sent by email or push.
