Reply buttons on WhatsApp alerts

Some alerts carry buttons such as Confirm, Reschedule and On my way. One tap from the parent turns into a notification, a reschedule request or a task for your team.

Updated 2026-10-09

Several automatic alerts can carry reply buttons, so a parent answers with one tap instead of typing.

| Alert | Buttons | |---|---| | Reminder the day before | Confirm, Reschedule | | Reminder 2 hours before | On my way | | Ready for pick-up | On my way | | Daily report card | Extend stay, Add a bath | | Time for the next groom | Book now, Remind me later | | We miss you | Book now |

What a tap does

  • Confirm and On my way: you get a notification. Nothing else changes.
  • Reschedule: a reschedule request is added to that booking, the same as when a parent asks from their link. Open the booking to pick a new time.
  • Extend stay, Add a bath, Book now: a task is created for your team, linked to the booking and pet where there is one.
  • Remind me later: a task is created, due in a week.

Every tap also appears in the Inbox thread, and the parent gets a short automatic answer such as "We've asked the team to check availability and they will confirm here."

Switching buttons on

Buttons are part of what WhatsApp approves, so the versions with buttons need their own approval.

  1. 1Open Settings → Alerts.
  2. 2In the WhatsApp approval card, click Submit for approval.
  3. 3Click Check status after a few minutes.

Until the version with buttons is approved, the alert keeps going out without buttons, exactly as before. An alert with approved buttons shows a Reply buttons badge.

Buttons need the webhook to be set up, because that is how a tap reaches FurKisses. See reply to pet parents in the WhatsApp Inbox.
