Accept online payments

Take UPI, card, netbanking and wallet payments from a link, through FurKisses Payments or your own gateway. Payments record themselves.

Updated 2026-10-03

Once online payments are on, every invoice and every booking deposit has a pay link. The customer taps it, pays by UPI, card, netbanking or wallet, and the payment appears on the invoice or deposit without anyone typing it in.

Two ways to get started

  • FurKisses Payments. No gateway account needed. Add your bank account once and your share of each payment is settled straight to it, minus a platform fee. For businesses that charge in INR. See set up your payout account.
  • Your own gateway. Connect your own Cashfree, Razorpay, Stripe, PayU, PhonePe or Mollie account. The money goes straight into that account and there is no platform fee. See connect your own gateway.

You choose between them under Settings → Payments (/app/settings/payments). Not sure which? Read FurKisses Payments or your own gateway.

FurKisses never sees or stores card details.

Using your own gateway: what you need

  • A gateway account that can take live payments.
  • Your API keys from that account.
  • A few minutes in the gateway's dashboard to add a webhook. The webhook is how FurKisses hears that a payment went through.

The steps below are for Razorpay and Stripe. The other gateways work the same way: each card under Settings → Integrations lists its own steps. As a shortcut, under My own payment gateway in Settings → Payments the Your gateway details list has an Enter details (or Edit details) link for each gateway, which opens that gateway's form in Settings → Integrations.

Connect Razorpay

  1. 1Go to Settings → Integrations (/app/settings/integrations) and click Connect on the Razorpay card.
  2. 2Switch Enabled on.
  3. 3Paste your Key ID and Key secret. In Razorpay they're under Account & Settings → API keys. The key secret is required for creating pay links.
  4. 4Copy the Webhook URL shown on the card.
  5. 5In Razorpay, go to Account & Settings → Webhooks → Add new webhook. Paste the URL, type a secret of your own, and tick exactly these two events: payment_link.paid and payment.captured.
  6. 6Back in FurKisses, paste the secret you just typed into Webhook secret. This is not your API key secret.
  7. 7Click Save. The card shows Connected.

Connect Stripe

  1. 1Go to Settings → Integrations and click Connect on the Stripe card.
  2. 2Switch Enabled on.
  3. 3Paste your Secret key (sk_live_…). It is required for creating pay links. The Publishable key is optional.
  4. 4Copy the Webhook URL shown on the card.
  5. 5In Stripe, go to Developers → Webhooks → Add endpoint. Paste the URL and select the event checkout.session.completed.
  6. 6Open the endpoint you just created, reveal its signing secret (whsec_…) and paste it into Webhook signing secret in FurKisses.
  7. 7Click Save. The card shows Connected.

Then choose it under Payments

  1. 1Go to Settings → Payments (/app/settings/payments).
  2. 2Choose My own payment gateway and pick the gateway under Take payments through.
  3. 3Click Save. The status line at the top reads "Online payments are ON".

If a card shows Setup incomplete, a key is missing. Click Manage and add it.

Try it in test mode first

Razorpay and Stripe both have a test mode with separate keys (rzp_test_… for Razorpay, sk_test_… for Stripe).

  1. 1Connect with the test keys, and create the webhook while the gateway's dashboard is in test mode.
  2. 2Create a small invoice, open its Pay online card and click Copy link.
  3. 3Open the link in a private browser window and pay with one of the gateway's test cards or test UPI IDs.
  4. 4Check that the invoice turns to paid and the payment shows the gateway and its reference.
  5. 5Swap in your live keys and create the webhook again in live mode. Test and live webhooks have different secrets.

What the customer sees

The pay page shows your business name, what they're paying for and the amount due. After paying they come back to a "Paid — thank you" screen. If the invoice was already paid or voided, the page says so instead of taking money twice. For the payment methods on offer, see how customers pay.

Good to know

  • If more than one gateway is connected, pay links use the one chosen under Settings → Payments.
  • A pay link always asks for the current balance, so a part-paid invoice only asks for what's left.
  • The customer is charged in your business currency.
  • Keys are stored on the server and never shown again. To replace one, click Manage and paste the new key. Leave a field blank to keep the saved one.
  • Disconnect removes the saved keys. Existing pay links then tell customers to pay at the counter.
  • Refunds are made in your gateway's dashboard. FurKisses doesn't send refunds to the gateway.
  • Gateway fees are charged by your gateway on its side. The invoice records the full amount the customer paid. Every online payment, with any platform fee and what you receive, is listed under Settings → Payments. See see every online payment.
Payment not showing up? It's almost always the webhook: check the URL, the events and that the secret saved in FurKisses matches the one in the gateway. The gateway's webhook page shows each delivery and whether it succeeded.

Who can do this

Owner and Admin can connect gateways and choose how payments are taken. Everyone who can see invoices can copy and send pay links.
