Get more Google reviews from happy customers

Customers who rate a visit highly are invited to post it on Google. Low ratings come privately to you instead.

Updated 2026-10-03

After a visit, customers get a link to rate it with 1 to 5 stars. With the review booster on, the happy ones are asked to share that on Google right away, while it's fresh.

Set it up

  1. 1In your Google Business Profile, choose "Ask for reviews" and copy the link.
  2. 2In FurKisses go to Settings → Booking policies (/app/settings/policies) and find the Google reviews section.
  3. 3Paste the link into Google review link. It must start with https://.
  4. 4Choose a level under Invite customers who rate at least. 4 stars is the default.
  5. 5Save.

To switch invitations off, clear the Google review link and save.

What the customer sees

  1. 1They open the feedback link from their "How was your visit?" message and tap the stars.
  2. 2They tap Send feedback.
  3. 3If the rating is at or above your level, they see "Would you share that on Google? It really helps a small business" with a Leave a Google review button. It opens your Google review page in a new tab.
  4. 4Otherwise they see a simple thank-you.

Posting on Google is always the customer's choice, and they write the review themselves on Google.

Low ratings stay private

  • A rating of 1 to 3 stars never shows the Google invitation, whatever level you chose.
  • The customer sees "Thank you for telling us — the owner will be in touch".
  • You get a "Low rating" notification straight away with their comment, so you can call and put it right.

Good to know

  • The rating and comment are always saved under Feedback in FurKisses, whether or not the customer goes on to Google.
  • FurKisses can't see whether a Google review was posted. Check your Google Business Profile for that.
  • Feedback requests go out automatically after a completed visit if that alert is on. See Settings → Alerts.
  • Each visit can be rated once.

Who can do this

Changing the Google review link and the rating level: Owner and Admin. Customers need no login to rate a visit.
